      Employee-friendly: ultimate flexibility including work-from-home (even before Covid); family-like culture.

      Cons

      More a reflection of small business size, type, and government contracting environment, potential for limited variety of available projects may limit exposure to opportunities. Also, generally not part of company culture to develop staff.

      Interesting work with mostly pleasant people

      My advanced degree, my age and my high salary intimidated my new manager. The manager who hired me was great. He got screwed over by the CEO who took some of his employees away from him to create a position for a friend.

      SC&A has not had an office (which was a laboratory) in Montgomery, AL since February 2008. We did not have a "Database Manager" and the content of the review has no basis. No employees were taken from any manager and no position was created for a friend of the CEO. Disappointed this review was published by Glassdoor without proper vetting.
