Pros

If you are lucky to be assigned to a great manager you will have many opportunities for advancement. Of course you have to be a high performer just like any where else! There is still an Open door policy to senior leaders that have been with the company for a long time. You are encouraged to talk to the Vice Presidents at any time. There are still some great people who work at the company. Ok environment. The culture is not the same as it has been, but is ok. Average salaries.

Cons

No consistent career path in the company. It depends on the support of your current manager. Most move up and out due to poor leadership and the change in culture. HR runs very fragmented, what is done for one division or group of people as far as development may not be the case for others who are equally talented and high performers. It creates frustration and great talent leaves the company. It is clear that the owner wants the culture to change from what his father and grandfathers developed. New leaders are in place that don't care about the best parts of our old culture. Lots of negative employes that are not happy because of the drastic culture changes happening.

Pros

You will not be bothered by people talking to you, benefits seem okay.

Cons

Don’t expect to be trained on anything. Management will expect you to figure things out on your own, request your own accesses and figure out what you need without any guidance. They’ll send people to you for questions on how to do stuff within your first couple days, not having taught you how to do those things.
