Pros
Work life balance is ok. Some perks if you like the food. Money has been alright. General atmosphere is relaxed.
Cons
This organisation is a shambles. It is THE worst run place I have ever worked in 30 years. The upper management are woefully inept and cause more problems for both the bank and staff with their poor and short sighted decisions which then have massive repercussions. They simply do not care and do not listen to those below them who have to deal with the issues they cause. No WFH despite saying that it is available. They send emails to staff advising not to come in during adverse conditions to work email addresses at 8.30am on the day. Rigid hours. Lots of lip service to regulations with no intention of ever actually adhering to them. Some of the people have disgusting personal hygiene, many have zero common courtesy or manners. Almost all managers have agendas. HR are both useless and rude. I could go on...SBI has been in the UK since 1921 and it's pretty much still using the same game plan it had then; it is totally out of date and utterly clueless of modern working practices and staff requirements.
