Pros
- Interact with people of different backgrounds. Crack jokes with others to get through your shift
- Hourly wage is tolerable
- Almost all of the supervisors are super sweet. Some intimidating, but very approachable if you're respectful
Cons
- Not always scheduled (most of the workers treat this job as a side-gig)
- Points system for tardiness, no-shows, cancellations
- Most newbies are scheduled in line management, ticketing, bag checks, or upper sections for awhile, but you can get scheduled possibly anywhere
- Depending on where you're placed for the event, the shift can get boring and feel wickedly long
- Customers can be annoying to deal with depending on the event
- Depending on amount of attendees for an event, you don't always get to park in the venue's designated parking spaces
