Pros

It's so special how close the staff is, that people will spend years dealing with the cons, which are pretty obstructive and constant, because the closeness and support is so strong. Great people, some great mid-level bosses, positive and supportive co-workers. Tight family of people I will never forget. reliable work, great health insurance, pension

Cons

Ineffective and manipulative executive leadership that leads to disorganization, distrust among hire-ups and some staff, with holding of information, sometimes crucial information, due to fear of job security, etc. Also, working closely with actors can be extremely trying. Also can be rewarding but less often.

Pros

The mission is meaningful and the benefits package is cool

Cons

Work-life balance is poor. The workload and expectations feel consistently high, and coverage isn’t reliable, when things get busy, support can be inconsistent. The biggest issue is fairness: there’s a noticeable pay gap even within the same team for comparable work, and it’s hard not to feel discouraged when people doing the same job are compensated very differently. It also doesn’t feel like a true team. Accountability is uneven, and when some employees disengage or avoid work, the same few people end up carrying the load to keep everything running. Leadership responsiveness can be inconsistent, and representation and inclusion efforts don’t always feel reflected in decision-making.
