Pros
Atmosphere: Definitely a collegial vibe in the office and love the workspace. Opportunities for learning: It's a small team so you HAVE to get your hands dirty. Everyone works on everything which means your contributions matter, no matter how small they may feel at the time. Opportunity to take risks: Working with clients on a day to day basis, you get to push people to take risks to get noticed in the marketplace. It hones your skills to pitch as well as take feedback. Female recognition: As a young woman I felt like the company put me out front to interface with clients and strategize the best marketing approaches for them. This was a huge opportunity to grow and develop, and working in a woman-owned business helped me understand the challenges I'd be facing. While oftentimes with clients I was the only woman in the room, I felt supported by the company leadership and by my team.
Cons
Size: It's a small office and team so getting exposure to outside ideas can be a challenge Geography: South Sound is a tight group and I know they're looking to expand to broader-reaching clients which I look forward to
