Pros
Rush Order doesn't lack hard and interesting problems to solve. That's often a common theme in a growing company like Rush Order. But folks in the company are the kind of people you want to surround yourself with. Always supporting and challenging you at the same time. The teams within the company tend to feel more like family. As for the technology, Rush Order is mid-transition of platforms. So, that has added a ton of projects on the priority board. But that's a good thing with all the new things to explore and learn.
Cons
Being over 30 miles outside of San Jose, pay for a programmer doesn't seem as competitive as one might find in the heart of Silicon Valley. I hope that changes over time as the company grows, but I find between the work and the people I work with a worthwhile break from what can be a tiring culture and pace that you otherwise find in the peninsula.
