Pros

Great culture of developer empowerment. Most progressive place I've worked in in my career. Get to work with extremely bright people and cutting edge technology. Devops culture, extremely easy to test and deploy to production. Voluntary adoption, teams choose the tools and technology that best fit their needs. Convergence comes about because tools and technologies that people love win out, not because they were imposed from down. Dublin office is a fun place to work. Senior management who came from Gilt are excellent, truly inspiring people to work for.

Cons

Culture threatened by encroaching bureaucracy from the HBC organization who acquired Gilt. HBC senior management team is less than inspiring. HBC IT systems suck.

Pros

There are a couple of great people that work here and still care about employees and their development. Office is nice Hybrid schedule

Cons

This used to be such a lovely place to work at. Pay has always been very low but they made up with unlimited PTO, great bosses that genuinely cared about your development, office flexibility and hard work but always respecting work life balance and a hard stop at 5pm. However, with new leadership this place has become a nightmare, everyone is so pressured for results and efficiency that resources have been cut, teams are being made smaller, which means more work on the folks that remain for the same low pay, bad and stressful office vibes, no 401k match, no WFH flexibility at all, long hours way beyond the paid 40 hrs work week, non existent coaching and development as NO ONE has time for it and last but not least getting shamed for requesting PTO.
