Pros

Great company if you're starting your career. The managers are extremely good at what they do however some more than others. A great pool of experts to learn from and grow your knowledge base.

Cons

Some periods of the year are a bit slow, so work can be limited. On-site excellence can put a lot of pressure on you If you have children frequent travel might be a hindrance

Pros

- Lots of work and interesting projects (universities, municipalities, school districts, etc.) - Culture is full of friendly and helpful people (mostly) - Company sets up remote employees with quality equipment: laptop, iPad, iPhone, monitors, etc. - 20 days of PTO annually - IT systems generally work well

Cons

- Company is very much in 'Start-Up' mode in the US established in 2022 - In-house software is cheap and flimsy. Not user friendly and full of bugs - The FCA work itself is extremely monotonous, tedious and boring. More data entry than consulting and/or report writing - One simple building FCA will take multiple days to complete so most everyone is months behind on their work and almost everything is over budget. Our product is overreaching and we provide way too much information for the $$$ received - Extensive travel Sunday-Friday trips once or twice per month! - Rapid growth in the US has resulted in overall lack of structure (too many soldiers and zero leaders) - 90% of company employees are remote and all department leads are based in Canada - Roth prefers to hire inexperienced people at low salaries - Company seems to 'Talk the Talk' but does not 'Walk the Walk' - final reports I've seen are low quality and full of errors - Benefits are below average and in the US you will need to find your own medical plan, and get partially reimbursed by company

Pros

Remote work, Very flexible and job looks after you.

Cons

Bad management, Will give you work that you weren't trained in and expect you to figure it out. From what i heard internally, not much advancement.
