Pros

-Safety food parties/snacks given periodically -Employee of the month recognition -Employees are mostly really nice until they have their eye on a management position. -Overall management is OK. Some are better than others. -20% off most merchandise and 40% off days throughout the year.

Cons

-Minimum wage work ($7.25). Even with past customer service experience (+4 years). -Even entry level managers/supervisors are low paid if they are part-time. (Was a Frontend Supervisor at minimum wage due to being part-time) -Company suggestion program not taken seriously -Weekly work schedules change daily and must be constantly monitored.

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
