Good colleagues but poor management - Senior Consultant Roland Berger Employee Review

Pros

Colleagues are hard-working, driven, smart, and mostly collaborative

Cons

Management - particularly 3-4 partners - are solely concerned with their bonuses, leading to some recent unstructured and thoughtless layoff that makes everyone on edge. The surviving consultants are now being squeezed and office completely sold out so no one is on the beach and everyone is looking to get out after bonus season.

Pros

Good culture Great mix of work (lots of strategy / interesting projects) Good opportunity

Cons

Promotion cycle can be slower than some peer companies (RB does not have a strong up or out model, which helps some people and hurts others)
