Pros

The people are phenomenal to work with. Everyone has an open door policy and is always willing to help anyone with any type of issue or question, whether it be work related or personal. The culture that has been instilled within the organization is always on display and I do feel that all of my co-workers truly care about me and all others they work with. The Benefits - UNREAL!!! R&G offers all of the standard benefit offerings for their people, but go above and beyond with all other sorts of benefits, including discounts and perks at other local businesses, a great Wellness program, TWO VACATION HOUSES that staff are able to use for a week during each year, the ability to pay your personal insurance directly though payroll deduction, and very generous time off allowances regarding vacation/sick/personal time.

Cons

As others have mentioned, in my opinion there really aren't any cons to think of. If I had to list one it would be the availability of space at some locations due to the recent growth of the organization, although the growth is a good thing obviously.

Thanks for the review, but we're in all sorts of places - not just the Cape! And top top it off, we do offer remote and hybrid work options as well. We have colleagues in Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, and lots of other places!

Pros

Work colleagues (excluding management) were always supportive and a pleasure to work with.

Cons

If you are considering applying, I would strongly advise you to steer clear. When the company operated solely as RogersGray, there was an air of camaraderie and respect among a tight-knit group of professionals working toward a common goal - to provide excellent customer service and to support each other. Training was excellent and culture felt bright. This took a sharp turn when the owners sold the company to Baldwin Risk Partners. The people I worked with on a daily basis for years were the only saving grace. There was no work-life balance. Management would turn a blind eye to colleagues working 60+ hour weeks and reprimand others unable to keep pace in addition to making inappropriate comments in the office under the guise of a humorous “don’t tell HR!” You are only a number here and the moment you start to advocate for yourself, you will be treated as lesser and gaslit into thinking you are doing something wrong when it is simply the workload being too overbearing. It felt dehumanizing. This is now a culture of sink or swim and the burnout and constant turnover are just the writing on the wall.
