People with good vibes in a collective working environment, co founders are innovative as well as passionate bootstrappers. Decent salaries taking into consideration that project was in Beta phase and the deliverables were mostly PoC demos. Co founders were not snobby corporate boomers, but cool enough to have 1on1 talks and enjoy drinks with anyone in the company. Parties, Coffee, Food in the office.
Cons
The project has been developed like a solopreneur's side hustle. While this approach isn't necessarily bad, it does come with limitations, particularly regarding the value proposition of the business model. Slow deliverables and partially wasted resources. Limited recurrent revenue streams makes it a bit risky choice. Laying off 5 people only a few weeks after hiring them was a bit shocking.
