Good hands-on experience with most of the hardware components and equipment

None, on the top of my mind

Generally people, especially Engineering graduates, go for the big “branded” companies having been coerced into following the herd mentality. But working at Robosoft Systems although for a short duration of time allowed me to observe first hand the high amount of enthusiasm and energy that people often talk about when discussing start-ups. Yes indeed everyone involved, from the founders to the last level of employees show great dedication and are well motivated, many don’t bother working well past their shifts, the work environment is very friendly to the point of being informal which works out pretty well and because the number of employees are limited there are no barriers to communication. Obviously since it is a new-born the firm provides almost limitless opportunities.

I am quite sure you’d be thinking I am some PR guy for this company, all this praise is because primarily I admire the strength and courage it takes to realize your own ideas. But yes it is a company in its nascent stage and hence comes with all the cons related with such endeavours, So things like swanky offices, plush lawns, high-end accessories, company cars etc etc, etc are absent. You will have to do more than what your job designation states, and I won't be stupid enough to compare compensation packages. And the most important factor of course is the uncertainty of the future because no matter how perfect a startup maybe it still is much more vulnerable than a BIG branded MNC.
