Pros
You have autonomy to be your own person and given reign to work at your own pace.
Cons
You are never given enough information on events and are expected to work short staffed. Upper management is so far removed from daily operations that then make decisions with no clear insight on employees. During the pandemic management exhausted staff with no clear direction on safety protocol any form of precaution was thrown out the window. When a covid outbreak occurred it was unclear on how to proceed, financial compensation for taking "time off" to get tested was seen as an inconvenience for book keeping. When line cooks staged a unified form of protest by going on furlough; management began to single out employees and used manipulation tactics (withholding promotions or raises). The employees who were furloughed (due to the lack of safety precautions) were then terminated by management. Additionally the hostility that occurs within individual employees makes working here feel isolating. I've witnessed oxymorons for employees, a white employee can be late multiple times and not be written up but an employee of color will be written up if late once. This is an exaggeration but the sentiment stands that despite the attitude of being liberal it is a facade of affluent business owners. Working here is mentally exhausting as well as physical.
