Pros

Remote work Some awesome employees unlimited PTO

Cons

the majority of the leadership team was hired because they were friends with the CEO. Most of them do not have the experience to be in their positions. There is no oversight of leaders - they can do the bare minimum or make massive mistakes and don't answer for it. This results in not having any upward trajectory because their jobs are so cushy they will never leave. The company is incredibly siloed. Although it claims to be a product-led organization, it is actually 10000000% a sales-led organization. They make incredibly dumb financial decisions and then fix it by doing layoffs. The head of HR is one of the most inappropriate people I have ever met, and if she weren't in HR, she would be immediately fired. I have seen execs work 3-4 day work weeks all summer, and no one says anything. I have seen execs derail projects just because they want something without concern for the actual customer. My favorite part is that bonuses are not based on performance so why even try to be awesome?

Pros

The people you work with day to day are the best part of the job. Friendly, capable and willing to help.

Cons

The company is not in a good place. Leadership decisions have hurt morale and the business and the culture has gotten worse over time. If you're considering joining ask hard questions about strategy, turnover and what it's actually like to work here.
