Unbeatable compensation. Culture was great. The people under management were some of the most incredibly talented, passionate individuals who could have turned the tide had they been given the chance to. Great ERGs/affinity groups
Cons
Execs do not understand real estate. Irresponsible leadership who only listened to a select few people, ignoring multiple warnings and suggestions by the employees on the ground level. Aggressive layoffs in august (almost 50%). CEO claimed this would give us enough runway to 2024, claimed we were doing great in September and then suddenly in October we had no money left leading to the second layoff where they laid off all but about 30 people left with 0 severance. Before the final layoff, they strung us along for weeks without any information. The CEO emails us and asks for volunteers to quit, claiming they’d get the same severance as those who would be involuntarily laid off, going so far as to telling us all what the severance would be. But yet a few days later retracts the severance and lays us all off with nothing, claiming there’s no money left. the mission was noble and everyone who worked there truly believed in it, but the product is only valuable in a buyers market.
