Pros
There is a lot to be learned, especially if you are new to computer repair, just out of high school. The variety of issues that people come means a having to use problem solving skills and learn new "tricks". It gives the ability to hone your skills. Semi-Flexible Schedules. They will usually work with people to accommodate individual needs. Relaxed atmosphere.
Cons
Poor wages, ranging from 8-11 for most people. Inconsistent employee attendance. Sometimes there would be no store manager there to open a store for the day until several hours later. Very disrespectful owner, sees 99% of employees as expendable (which they really are at the rates of pay given and the number of potential candidates waiting for a spot to open up. High turnover. Very few employees have stayed with the company for more than 1 year. Very little room to "move up". Many employees will be made store managers, and there are a couple more opportunities, should a spot open up, but most people will find their hourly rate capped at about $11-$12 per hour, even after years of employment.
