Pros
You work by yourself and don't have to interact with the people who are wrecking this company and destroying morale
Cons
All the cons you see from other reviews are accurate. There's not much more to add to what's been said. Reynolds was a good company to work for in the past, but BAT has ruined the culture, customer relationships, and our reputation. BAT doesn't understand the US market or our customers. They're entire strategy is to flood the market with as much product as possible. Then they keep magically changing the expirations dates, so the field isn't returning all the product that isn't selling. The best part of Reynolds was they cared about the people. BAT hates the people in their field and only gives a damn about the people in Home Office. Their dream is to continue whittling down the sales force until we only have regional KAMs working from the office and 3rd party making store visits. Diversity is great and all, but BAT is just another liberal woke company. They've made it very clear they will promote anyone who's not a white male regardless of performance, but based on their color, sex, or sexual preference. I guess BAT feels guilty since it was the British after all, who brought slavery to the colonies. At the end of the day BAT is trying to drive away employees so they don't have to lay people off and look bad. If they weren't so short sighted, they would understand it's the high performers that all don't feel appreciated. What are you going to do when all you're left with is the TMs, AMs, and DMs that are just going through the motions? It would blow managements minds if they knew which employees were actively looking for a new job.
