Currently, there has been a lot of change due to bad sales figures in the London Office. Everyone knew that something needed tp change, however, I am astounded how long this took to happen.
I feel that a lot of people in more senior positions are there, not through skill or talent but just because they have worked at RG for a long time. RG seems to be a company which people bleieves in trianing people up the role and developing them which is good, however I think we need some fresh eyes and talent from the industry. There is a lot of hot air around the sales team which is expected, however idue to the lack of sales I am still in aue with how this has been allowed to go on and go and performnce, and consistency of deals has been been highlighted sooner.
Since loosing the head of consultancy, the team has drastically improved in terms of sales etc and there seems to be a new lease of life in the tem, however i feel we have also lost some of our "open and honest" communucations.
I know at least 5 people, included myself, who are worried about their the future of their jobs, or their role changing in the organisation. I am not scared of changed, and I welcome it with open arms if it means that sales performance will go up however, we were told about 4 weeks ago something would change and still have not been communicated to about it, for roles such as researchers or reps this is quite daunting. Lots of new ides have been thrown around and no one seems to know what is going on, or what will be expected of them and we still haven't heard when this will be communicated out.
Change is good, but something I feel at RG it is put into motion haphazardly before considering the effects on the staff. I know things needs to happen sooner rather than later, but I feel there needs to be a better plan in place.
