Pros

Good learning experience. It's a good entry-level job for people fresh out of college. It makes for a good stepping stone and looks good on your resume.

Cons

The work is mundane and repetitive. You have to want to sit in front of a computer for 8 hours a day and do the same thing over and over again. Each person basically goes through annual reports or 10-K SEC filings and identifies customers, suppliers, etc. The pay is barely more than minimum wage. Managers don't share bonuses with employees.

Pros

Great work environment Very friendly people to work with including most managers Good internship program monthly lunches, social events etc. Very flexible work hours

Cons

The work itself as an associate or analyst is very dry, repetitive and boring the pay is bad starting out and the hope of getting more pay is very bleak If you're in research there is very limited opportunity to grow. If you are in sales and product development its better but a tight work schedule. Engineering and HR are in a way outsourced. Executive management is in SF.
