Pros

Grubhub, benefits, coworkers, salary, that’s it.

Cons

Apparently they are Pro-Cancer and like to put new employees on PIPs (before they even finish onboarding) after they admit to dealing with a very difficult family health situation, and ask for flexibility and understanding. Incompetent Software Leadership likes to try and micromanage from overseas. No modern industry standard tools or practices in place (no Jira, no confluence, no GitHub, no project manager). It’s like working in the Stone Age. Seriously avoid this place at all costs if you are a professional software developer. Don’t ask questions if you’re unsure about their requirements. They just hold it against you. Keep your opinions to yourself and don’t speak up.

Pros

- Competitive compensation for a startup, with strong benefits - Good opportunities for growth and skill development - Great mentorship from co-workers and senior engineers - Engineering-driven culture with a strong technical foundation

Cons

- Working in a distributed team across Israel and the U.S. introduces challenges around alignment and communication cadence due to cultural differences. - Fewer senior engineers on the Austin site for spontaneous learning - There can be periods of heavy workload that can spill into weekends leading to less predictable work schedules.
