Pros
Pros are the ability to work on some of the largest automation projects in the country at Fortune 500 companies. Being an employee at a large company is great, but you may get to see 1-2 major projects in your entire career. Here, there are 4-5 major automation projects going on all the time. You have to be willing to work but the culture is pretty relaxed. Not a lot of negative discipline but the deadlines are real so the intensity is pretty high. Despite some of the comments you see below, there are a lot of younger people coming in. There are long stretches of being on the road, but all that means is your life is paid for as long as you're working hard and getting work done. Work hard play hard. The people are friendly.
Cons
The work is hard and can be stressful at times. It can get overwhelming but you usually get through it. The growth of the company means you will have to be willing to learn on the fly and adapt. Every project is a little bit different. Sometimes you have more work than you can possibly do and you have to pull in others to share the load. Just depends on the circumstance. That's why the culture is an area of such importance to the company.
