The salary is higher than some comparative positions at local colleges and universities in the market. The health insurance benefits, retirement benefit , and tuition reimbursement are very good. It's a small university so it's possible to actually get to know almost everyone from an Admission Counselor to a Vice President. The university has a very friendly IT department too.

The university is going through some issues due to growth of the student population. The university was also in the process of moving from a location in the city to a location in the suburbs. Thus there has been quite a bit of departmental restructuring. Due to the population growth, it seemed that the university was having some difficulty meeting all departmental needs.
