Pros

you'll gain laser tattoo removal experience, after which you can leave and work for a real company that values it's employees

Cons

everything else -pay cut every 2-3 months ("bonus" structure, this is a joke now) -pay cut every year (not one cent even for inflation, despite excellent work review) -no breaks (bathroom or 15 min legally protected/promised in employee handbook, unless your studio is new and has no traffic which will be short-lived) -no PTO (3 weeks EARNED AFTER 1 YEAR OF WORK is also your sick time, you cannot take an hour off or a day off without your manager using your PTO - so don't plan any vacation, family or mental health time) -complete lack of instruction/organization from management (unresolved studio issues, lack of clarification with updates to protocols) -risk of losing medical license (huge liability risk posed by reckless managers advising you to leave newborns in lobby unattended, forced to treat abusive and litigious clients) -wearing 15 hats (including doing 100% of studio management tasks, but being paid to wear one) -racism and nepotism are #1 and #2 company values (just ask former employees, we've all heard the stories) -you are nothing to them (no matter how amazing an employee you are, your concerns will never be addressed and you will never be given a raise - they will tell you to use your non-existent PTO for a day off in 6 weeks or say "if you don't like it, leave!") -daily task list gets longer and more complicated/impossible daily (ridiculous and likely a result of them firing/losing 50% of their staff over the past year) -company is likely boosting numbers to sell (only logical explanation for how little they care about and how much they overwork their employees)

Pros

Excellent training, actually taking time to go over each and every subject in detail. Preparing you for success! Also, great benefits

Cons

Unfortunately, I wish there was more communication behind the WHY on certain decisions, especially the ones affecting the clinical outcomes for clients

Pros

Pay is competitive and benefits are great. Coworkers were awesome.

Cons

They used to be a scrappy start up but have become more and more corporate over time. Their sales tactics are becoming high pressure and their treatment protocols are becoming less personalized and more cookie cutter. It seems to be more about money and less about people. Obviously, businesses are about making money, but it doesn't have to be at the expense of doing what's right for people. Tom Weber is no longer the CEO. They brought in the heir to and former CEO of Bic to speed the corporatization.
