Pros

The team makes this place, from the top down, every team member is valued, engaged, and respected. We love our clients and the work we do for them, but most importantly, we're a family here. That shows from the very beginning with the group interview during the hiring process. Leadership understands the problems we all face in the workplace and they actively work to improve them. And, if something comes up that needs to be addressed, they handle it head-on and with full transparency. We seriously have some of the best clients. The work is diverse enough that each day is a new challenge, and we celebrate each other when we are successful. We have EPIC GIF wars in Slack. For a remote(ish) company, we have an awesome company culture that we all work hard to maintain and we're all very protective of it. We might not be able to meet in person often (we do have team retreats sometimes!) but we have virtual events that are fun and engaging, and our new People & Culture Ops Specialist is solely dedicated to maintaining our culture and morale. Their focus on education and making sure you have the skills and abilities to do your work is second to none. The benefits are some of the best I've ever seen. I'm finally saving for my retirement and at a faster rate than I anticipated. The flexible schedule (fit work into your life, not life into your work!) and the reduced work benefit equaling 30 hours a week have given me my life back. I'm able to travel, spend time with family, and enjoy my time disconnected from the office. And, if you do have trouble getting your workload under 30 hours a week, management will enforce this rule. To Nicole, the CEO, work/life balance is not just a saying or slogan, it's a way of life. I cannot stress this enough: the benefits are amazing, the pay is great, the clients are awesome, but the team is what makes this place great.

Cons

Sometimes it's difficult to unplug because I'm just not used to it yet. I'm still figuring out my schedule, but I work with my manager to make sure I'm on track and fulfilling my responsibilities. Fortunately, there's so much transparency that everyone understands when you have to close the computer and wrap up the work week early on a Friday because you worked a long (8 hour...) day on Monday.

Thanks so much for the glowing review! Work/life is becoming increasingly important and we're glad you're able to take advantage of that. Being transparent is so important, especially in a small company, so we can all learn and win together!

Pros

It’s important to leadership that we’re industry leaders in our work and culture. Employees are treated as the lifeblood of the company. Great benefits: 6% 401k match Good health insurance Reduced work program (effectively 1 week off per month) Flextime (work on your schedule) Fully remote Emphasis on doing great work and an unreal level of support to help you do great work. Onboarding is unsurpassed. 2 months of systems and processes training so you’re in good shape when you begin doing your job. Transparency in financial health of the company and involvement in the mission.

Cons

If you don’t like working remotely, this won’t be for you.

We appreciate the positive praise! We put a lot of thought into the offered benefits and our new employee onboarding process. We want to give our new team members time to learn the Remotish way, systems, and processes before setting them free so they are set up for success.
