Interning at Relovv was super impactful - Marketing Intern Relovv Employee Review

Pros

This internship is not a “coffee running” experience. I love that the startup environment is challenging enough to help me grow. I have been exposed to mini projects in marketing, merchandising and graphic design and they have helped me better understand which career paths I am interested in pursuing. I am so happy that I put the time and effort into this internship, as it keeps getting better. Additionally, the management is really open to feedback and actually care

Cons

Startups run super fast and are generally not as structured as traditional companies. So, if you are not able to keep up with the pace of startups, this probably is not the right internship for you. You need to be open to schedule changes and looking at the big picture for what you’re tasks to help the company grow

Pros

Was a good experience in a Marketing Internship

Cons

Was entirely remote and mainly focused on sending a script to people on Instagram.

Pros

I interned with Relovv last summer and it was a lot different from my other internships. I did this one for college credit and was simply hoping to get hours to pass my college’s internship course. As the summer went on, I actually began to devote a lot more time to the internship because I actually felt like I was making a difference, not just logging hours. The company is really small, so it allows you to work closely with the CEO and other employees. Because of this, I was able to give direct feedback about what I liked, what I thought Relovv could do better, and what I thought could be improved. The structure of the internship also works really well if you do it remotely like me (I know there are some interns based in LA who are able to go into the office) Because I worked remote, I was able to finish assignments late at night (I’m a night owl). I found it really helpful to be able to do this rather than having to go into an internship every day after class. I would really recommend this internship for someone who is a self-motivated worker.

Cons

If you procrastinate, the work can be a little hard to catch up on, so make sure you have a plan for time-management.
