Pros
Free food! I joined and was told that I didn't need to 're-invent the wheel', just needed to 'mould and shape' After 6 months I told the boss that there were no wheels and I was done. 2 months later I left. Dropped the car off after my notice period and was amazed how down everybody looked. They remarked how happy I looked - go figure.
Cons
1. Only 20 days holiday 2. Old fashioned working hours and flexibility 3. Service engineers were all prima-donnas - huge egos for fixing sausage machines. Few had any real skills 4. Fear culture 5. Technophobic - Never seen a company with so many filing cabinets 6. Salesmen always knew better, gave it the big 'I am' then blame everyone for their failings 7. Do you really want more?
