Pros
If you have a passion for water, this job is right. They pay they best, and have new equipment. Its 2/2 weeks on/off. The only hard part is getting from a deckhand to mate. You need 3 captains to sign off and that could take years. Otherwise, good salary and good people.
Cons
Not being home for holidays. Sometimes high school drama, but you can get that anywhere
