Pros

You could not pay me enough to actually write a singe pro of working here in the admissions department.

Cons

If I could give no stars, I would. The admissions department at Regis University is hell on earth. I beg you to NEVER fill out an application to work there. Working at Regis was a dismal experience, to say the least. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was met with an atmosphere of incompetence and disorganization. It was abundantly clear that management had no clue how to run a cohesive team or foster a positive work environment. The new "leader" only cares about himself and his numbers, so that he can impress upper leadership within the organization. He is a terrible leader, if one can even call him that. They fire and belittle good, hard working people, but have no problem promoting the people that do absolutely nothing. They love to make up stupid titles like "director, dean, assistant dean, deputy chief, etc.," and give those made up titles/promotions to people who are completely undeserving of it. Communication was practically non-existent, with crucial information often withheld or passed along haphazardly. It seemed like every day brought a new set of arbitrary rules and last-minute changes, leaving employees scrambling to keep up with the ever-shifting expectations. The lack of appreciation for employees' efforts was palpable. Despite working tirelessly to meet unrealistic demands, there was never so much as a word of acknowledgment or gratitude from higher-ups. Instead, we were treated as disposable cogs in a malfunctioning machine, easily replaced and quickly forgotten. The pay was insultingly low, especially considering the level of incompetence demonstrated by management. It was abundantly clear that profits were prioritized over the well-being of the staff, leading to a revolving door of disgruntled employees who quickly realized they could do better elsewhere. When I tell you no one lasts a year here, NO ONE does. In short, working at Regis was a soul-crushing experience that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. If you value your sanity and self-respect, steer clear of this toxic cesspool masquerading as a workplace.
