Pros
For the most part, the people are terrific. Many of my colleagues are exceptionally talented in their specific areas. Many of the leadership positions are currently held by people with many years of experience and education in their respective areas.
Cons
Intradepartmental communication is damn near nonexistent. It resembles a Greek /Shakespearean tragedy. Additionally, they have not figured out that they are a large corporation, and thus, continue to have dysfunction between the varying levels of management regarding scope and roles.
