Pros

Employees and coworkers are good

Cons

In my experience, everyone at district manager and above had expectations that created unmanageable pressure (unless you were willing to work 50 hrs a week). Often times you will find yourself scrambling to meet some internal metric while competing against theaters that achieved their metrics dishonestly. The communication is poor, everything is a top priority emergency, sometimes with threats attached. Last year’s implementation of BASE payroll hours has left us more short staffed than ever in the slow season. But the expectations are higher than ever for SPP, Customer Reviews, attendance, you name it. Do more with less mentality even as they say that is not what is happening. Never been more stressed in my life, I slowly became someone I did nit recognize. Would not recommend unless you are tolerant of burnout and don’t mind a culture of lying to make things look good.

Pros

The initial role offers good experience in sales and customer service, but the benefits are overshadowed by internal management failures.

Cons

The primary issue lies in the disconnect between local management and corporate HR, specifically regarding off-boarding and payroll accuracy. I submitted a formal two-week notice which was reportedly never filed by my manager. This resulted in an "ineligible for rehire" status despite my following all proper protocols. Furthermore, communication from Corporate is inconsistent and contradictory. I was told both that my notice was received but my two weeks were incomplete, and then later told that no notice was submitted at all. Even with physical proof of attendance (after a manager failed to adjust a manual clock-in as promised) and proof of the submitted notice, Corporate refused to correct the record.
