Pros

Got weekends off lol. Free food occasionally. There were opportunities to get a raise if someone quit from another team. If you were a top performer, you might get offered that position (this happened to me twice while I was there). And it's usually at a higher pay... At least there was that.

Cons

Worked here for 4 years in customer service and purchasing. Toxic company culture. Constant gossip between the office staff and managers. One of the worst gossip-y managers has been there for over a decade somehow. Pay was way below industry standard. Unfortunately, I was fairly naive about average salaries for most of my employment here. Managers, supes, and upper management all heavily rely on favoritism for all aspects of their jobs (workload and pay are the most notable). Speaking of workload, prepare to be worked to the absolute bone with high expectations and low pay. Not only that-- coworkers will call you out on emails with the entire company on them if you make one little mistake. Not that I was a total mess or anything, but everyone makes mistakes occasionally. Management did nothing to prevent this from continuing to happen after I approached them about it THREE times. Totally degrading. Management did not listen to the few issues I brought to them. After a couple of years, I stopped going to anyone entirely about my problems... Just looked for another job. During covid (2020-2021), we were only allowed to work from home for 3 months while the majority of the local workforce was either hybrid or 100% remote for years. No one in the office was required to wear a mask. And "social distancing" who? Lol. One of my close relatives is high risk and management couldn't have cared less. Sorry for this wall of text. I know it's a lot. I just really want to warn y'all about the reality of working here. This company is so inherently broken. The only reason their rating on Glassdoor is even as high as it is is because at one point during my employment, upper management requested all employees rate the company 5 stars on here and on google. Classy.
