Pros
just having the brand name on your resume… only pro I have experienced… but people in the industry know the bad reputation of this place and they will feel sorry for you…
Cons
-no work life balance, burnout is celebrated -no teamwork, not collaborative -interview experience was entirely different than actual experience on the job -claim to value people but they really do not -worst experience I have ever had in the industry -it all starts at the top and management is not willing to change -pay was not that good, you can find better and save your mental health -you must use sick hours to go see the doctor -very hard if impossible to take any days off -management for my department was very introverted and people skills were seriously lacking -remarkably toxic like it’s another planet -you will learn the Ref way of doing things, not how things are done in the real world (specifically for product development) -product development here is looking at spreadsheets and pivot tables all day, nothing creative and 90% data entry and analysis -they hand out PIPs like candy and use it to “get you to another level” and it’s a common tactic they do even if you’re doing stellar. Their sense of growth and mentorship is highly twisted.
