Pros

The typical startup perks like snacks & drinks in an open floor plan office; unlimited PTO & remarkable health benefits for a company in this stage. What truly makes this company is the awesome team (super diverse and from both tech & retail backgrounds). There are many divisive decisions to be made day-to-day and I loved how I could get in a heated business disagreement with a teammate but then get a drink with them afterwards like nothing happened. If you are the type to carry a chip on your shoulder outside the office for decisions made within the office then you just don't belong at Reflex (I personally witnessed a few colleagues with this problem and they had a super short life span at the company).

Cons

Startups are not for everyone. First off, a venture-scaled business must grow or it will die. Sometimes this is a necessary evil when it comes to decision making and I noticed coworkers kicking & flailing along the way who just couldn't cope with the fact that certain cute ideas had no realistic path to scale. From my experience, Reflex actually leans towards being a non-typical startup work environment - for a company of it's size it is highly structured from the top-down, which might slightly bug you are a 'go fast & break things' type of person (they are already past this stage). I would guess there is a sweet spot to working here right now; people who have experienced a post-series A-B environment would likely have the least culture shock.
