Pros
What it could have been. The people actually doing the work are a great bunch of people, but too many others and in management just don't get it and get in the way of people actually trying to make a positive impact. Decent pay but they will work you ragged because of the staffing issues so be prepared to "wear multiple hats".
Cons
Horrible execution. A lot of upper management is utterly incompetent. They think they know better than the SME's. Others stand in the way just to flex their position. Some of those have now been let go due to restructurings but it was too little to late. Still a lot of incompetence remains. With 3 layoffs in a year, a lot of people are checked out or just trying to save their position for as long as possible. The most recent layoffs were handled horribly. No calls, No texts, No emails, just people finding out by not being able to log in. What a bunch of cowards. No severance either. The fact that the operations group is run by someone with experience driving multiple startups to failure, should tell you they are well suited to make this one fail as well. No 401k match.
