Pros

If you have a passion for fitness, it’s a great opportunity to get a foot in the door. Helping people build confidence and reach physical goals is an extremely endearing gig.

Cons

Management or lack there of. unbalanced pay scale Manipulative sales tactics Pyramid scheme esque. Must use personal phone but won’t cover phone for you. Higher ups are disgustingly out of touch with the harm there business practices does to a gym community. The fact this company is afloat is a miracle.

Pros

You meet amazing clients unfortunately under bad circumstances

Cons

Average turn around rate is 2 weeks for a trainer. Think about that before you sign up, the only ones who stay longer are the ones who are higher up making thousands per week not the trainers making 50-400 a week. Money hungry managers who manipulate and scam clients into signing up for memberships they can’t afford. They use you and take advantage of your time as a trainer. There is no work life balance, they will think redwood is a way of life instead of a job. They charge clients $50+ but pay you 19-25 per 30 min. You’re making dirt compared to them. You have very little time to train with clients and your clients will want out of their memberships and be hostile towards you and management will make sure you take the fall for them. You are a replaceable number and they treat you as such. No work life balance. No moral code. They just don’t care about clients, their trainers or anyone but higher ups.
