Pros
- RedSeer hires lots of youngsters and hence the environment on floor is fun - Salary on time - They don't fire people (as far as I know)
Cons
- Travel reimbursements are usually delayed and would demand multiple follow-ups. It is funny because only a few employees travel and they have a huge support staff team for finance and operations - Clear demarcation between people from IITs/ IIMs and others. It seems they hire based on (1) words uttered by you per minute and (2) your college - Hardly any trainings. Employees are expected to train themselves on the job and deliver. After some feedback from employees, they started with some external trainings though - No work-life balance. If you miss an impromptu client call on a Sunday you will be given a feedback by your manager on Monday. They basically assume that you don't (or shouldn't) have a life outside of work - At junior (non-IIT) levels salary revisions, career paths are not discussed, which is sad - No strict timelines for appraisals and bonus rollouts - Unethical data extraction practices - Employees are expected to work at 120-150% of their bandwidth which always results in quality issues. If one project gets appreciated by the client for quality of output, there would 2-3 projects that suffered badly because management didn't find those important
