Pros

Salary payments were made, but that is the only positive.

Cons

The atmosphere was extremely toxic. QA team had to teach me and prepare for the project. Training was poorly organized and inconsistent. I was assigned one set of topics, which I fully learned and completed all tasks. Later, I was evaluated on completely different expectations that had never been part of the training. The QA team appeared to be preparing for termination rather than onboarding. I found out that there was very little actual work, with few projects and frequent periods when people had nothing to do. The feedback included false claims about my soft skills, such as not greeting people or not saying thank you, which never reflected my actual behavior. I escalated these concerns to the CEO. He apologized and said he would investigate, but no action was taken.

Pros

- People are amazingly nice - Great view of the airport - Excellent talent pool

Cons

- Unorganized and no process - High amounts of nepotism - No career growth - Lots of micromanagers - Salaries only for managers - Overtime is paid in lieu days, but it's hard to take them because teams are understaffed - Outsourced work when the budget should be applied for internal hires - Managers encourage bad behaviours in the executive level
