Pros

The other BHTs, Nurses and the chef are angels sent from above

Cons

the CEO. He didnt provide adequate training to staff ever. I received a total of maybe 1 days worth of training. Then, when I got in trouble for something, they had another BHT tell me what I did wrong, not even a supervisor. They weren't able to give me examples of what I did wrong or how to improve.

Communication: Expectations are communicated clearly from the beginning. If there are policy changes they are published immediately. Lived Experience: Management and staff at all levels of the organization have lived experience with both addiction and recovery. Opportunity for Growth: Management is quick to identify areas of individual growth and provides the necessary tools and time to achieve your maximum potential. Pros

The owners are passionate about the mission and appear to care about the work being done.

Cons

Management operates in a consistently adversarial way rather than providing leadership or mentorship. Mistakes are penalized instead of used as opportunities for coaching, which creates a fear-based environment rather than one focused on growth. There are no clearly defined KPIs, expectations, or performance benchmarks, yet performance is still scrutinized, leading to inconsistent and often arbitrary feedback. The overall experience felt disorganized, unsupported, and at times demeaning.
