Pros

I like taking care of our clients.

Cons

My main issue with Red Rock Recovery Center is that its current management is awful and ineffective. There are a lot of nice and supportive people in the management, but some of them are problematic and unhelpful. They create a terrible work atmosphere where it feels like we’re walking on eggshells.

Pros

Communication: Expectations are communicated clearly from the beginning. If there are policy changes they are published immediately. Lived Experience: Management and staff at all levels of the organization have lived experience with both addiction and recovery. Opportunity for Growth: Management is quick to identify areas of individual growth and provides the necessary tools and time to achieve your maximum potential. Family Atmosphere: RRRC is a family owned organization and those family roots extend to every employee and every interaction. Even uncomfortable conversations are handled with compassionate family style communication. Internal Promotion: Every effort is made to promote internally ensuring that every employee is utilizing their skillset to the best of their ability. Employee Engagement: Employees are encouraged to participate in family style team building and to attend company sponsored events.

Cons

I do not have any "cons" to report.

Pros

The owners are passionate about the mission and appear to care about the work being done.

Cons

Management operates in a consistently adversarial way rather than providing leadership or mentorship. Mistakes are penalized instead of used as opportunities for coaching, which creates a fear-based environment rather than one focused on growth. There are no clearly defined KPIs, expectations, or performance benchmarks, yet performance is still scrutinized, leading to inconsistent and often arbitrary feedback. The overall experience felt disorganized, unsupported, and at times demeaning.
