Pros
I've worked with Red Hat since they were formed and came back five years ago. Red Hat is the best employer on the planet, bar none. The staff care, the directors care, yes there are hiccups, expect them in any organisation. Add to the quality, don't detract and you will be fine. Be passionate and you will be rewarded, define what you want and follow that goal, even if that means you have to work hard and butt heads. It's a great organisation that I'm passionate about.
Cons
HR systems continue to evolve but EXPECT THAT it's a fast growing dynamic company and the HR staff that are there are trying their level best to try and evolve too to support you. Help them do it and see that everyone is running at 90 mph.
