Pros

Everyone in the office was really nice.

Cons

If you are looking for a door to door sales position and want to make barely any money, then this would be the perfect place for you.... 1. The position said it was Marketing, but it's entirely sales. 2. You are selling office supplies and have to go into businesses and try to sell them anything from a pack of pencils to a file cabinet. 3. Be prepared to be yelled at by people, embarrassed and kicked out of businesses. 4. You are given a territory that could be an hour away and you are not reimbursed for the gas you use throughout the day (which is a lot.) Overall, it's a complete joke and a total waste of time.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to our page. We apologize that you didn't have an opportunity to gain more experiences or grow into other roles in our company. The position is definitely sales. This is simply shown in the 2nd round interview if the candidate is asked to come back to shadow in the company. There is no hidden surprises this way, what you see is what you get. We find teaching the sales management role provides the foundation to grow to any other role in the company. The individual needs to learn how to manage themselves with the sales before teaching any other role such as: marketing, human resources, administration, financial, event planning, data entry, public relations, etc. Our client has a various array of products (almost a million products) to compare and contract with small to mid size businesses. This is not a business to consumer but rather a business to business model that we use a given application on our phones to spot out the customers that have used our services in the past. Our company since 2009 has tripled in size, we continue to grow and promote the right candidates to other locations nationwide as well as in the Chicago-land area. We are excited for what our future holds!

Pros

The atmosphere that the Managers and other employers bring to the table is fantastic and drives you do only one thing: succeed. The entry level position as Account Manager gives you the independent sense of responsibility to grow personally and within the company drastically with consistency and patience. The person who fired me Rebecca Blatz is a great CEO.

Cons

The cons remain the same for any other Managerial positions in the world. It takes time, effort, commitment but with this company it is worth it.

Pros

I think the two fundamentals that stick out to me in the company are the helpful managers and account executives and watching employees get promoted in the company. I had a situation where my car wasn't starting for work, it's not really my style to miss a day (nor did I want to). Throughout my time with the company, I met someone who lived by me, without even questions asked, they picked me up and drove to work. It's nice to know that there are people from the office that you can rely on and help when needed! I personally haven't been working in the company too long but have received one promotion so far. I have seen many individuals get promoted in the company and even expand into new markets and have the opportunity to manage their own client. It's exciting to know there is that opportunity out there for me and that's it all performance based. If I'm dedicated to work hard now, I can even pass some other individuals that have been working in the company longer than me. To me, that's a huge incentive to challenge myself day in and day out.

Cons

There is some turnover in the company, sales isn't for everyone. They provide a full day to job shadow so it's what you see, is what you get. I think individuals start with the company thinking they can do it, but give up on themselves quickly when they hear some rejection.
