Pros
I have worked for Reckitt for a number of years and find it generally a good place to work. Having had other roles in the pharmaceutical industry, I find the work here more suited to me, and the people are more approachable. There is a certain level of flexibility that is appreciated and I enjoy the culture for the mostpart.
Cons
I do find the company very jargon-heavy, with a lot of business talk that seems a bit 'overkill' at times and a little impersonal. For many roles, there is no defined career path. There is a lot of talk about future careers and objective-setting, but actually moving up in the company seems to be limited to a select few, which has been a source of great frustration. I have found myself previously in the same role for several years, with more responsibilities given to me but this has not been reflected in my pay or job title. There is much talk of diversity and inclusion, and mental health, but these seem almost like 'tick box' exercises and seem to lack authenticity.
