Hardest job I've had but also the most freedom to run with my ideas, and opportunity to do something big - Communications Reckitt Employee Review

Pros

It's a high achieving place and you're often surrounded by intelligent people. You're encouraged to think differently and take calculated risks - 'can't do it ' is not an option, there's always a solution, I like that philosophy. There's plenty of opportunity to progress fast if you show the right skills, mettle & attitude. You have full ownership of projects which is simulaneously liberating and frightening if you're used to working with people who micro-manage (as I have been previously. It's a very successful business.

Cons

It is quite a serious and tough environment compared to many I've been in - I mean tough in the way that it's constant pushing yourself and your boundaries and the way you approach things. You are left to take the initiative & make your mark yourself - there is no real hand holding and 'slowly slowly' approach which can be a bit daunting at first. It's extremely busy and fast paced, my interpretation of 'fast' changed dramatically here.

Pros

Feel that the pay is above market standard for similar roles.

Cons

Intense, cold, cut throat. Feel like when you speak with any employee they’re burnt out, Managment beyond demanding. High profile brands, don’t align with low end culture.
