Everyone cares for each other and understands the workload and stress that comes with property management. This job is not for the faint of heart nor for the ...ummm... 'less than energetic'. You ARE tired at the end of the day and do feel good about it. The Company rewards hard work and accomplishments, has many training venues for anyone wanting to learn and grow including KPIs and measures, and there is real advancement 'in the field' in this company. There are rarely two days the same to satisfy all 'your boxes', and professionalism through policy and communication is paramount. There is respect and encouragement and at the end of a long hard day, that is the most important thing you can take home with you.
Cons
Property management has its challenges, especially when it comes to finding hard working couples who want to work together and on weekends and holidays and on call. You get to live in a lovely apartment with most utilities paid, yet for many, that isn't enough, especially with bills to pay. That definitely means longer hours when you are short staffed, however, senior management takes care to provide the contractors needed to fill the gaps and keep the high standards expected in place.
