Pros

- Excellent benefits. - Unlimited food, snacks, coffee and beer on hand! - Fun out of office culture events to help encourage team building amongst the diverse group. - Very competitive compensation for an early stage start up.

Cons

- Employees lack a safe outlet to confront company related issues due to a lack of HR presence internally primarily because of inexperience and inter office relations between managers. - Employees work long hours and come close to sleeping in the office on a regular basis, which is expected amongst a passionate group of individuals working at an early stage start up. Unfortunately, if you are unwilling to make this a regular part of your lifestyle you may be deemed a "poor culture fit," which has lead to termination for several employees. This company is not family friendly or respectful of employee's work/life balance. - Extremely high turnover rate on the sales team (AEs get approximately six weeks with little to no training to hit quota before being terminated). - Constant issues with payroll during growth period (checks regularly over/under). The company does have a new CFO so those issues should clear for good in the very near future.

RealScout Response

Several months ago, RealScout hired an HR manager and Sr Director of Sales with over 25 years of sales management experience. As with many early stage companies, we experienced with rapid growth with limited resources. Since then, the company has hired incredibly talented and seasoned industry professionals to help the company scale.

Pros

I’ve been at RealScout for about 1.5 years and what has stood out most is the genuine investment leadership makes in everyone's growth. If you’re interested in expanding your skill set and taking on new responsibilities, leadership is supportive and proactive about helping you get there. I’ve had the opportunity to grow in areas I’m personally passionate about, and that growth hasn’t just been personal, it’s translated into real impact on the company’s overall trajectory. Leadership creates space for you to lean into your strengths in ways that meaningfully drive the business forward. The growth opportunities are significant, especially if you’re motivated and willing to take initiative. RealScout moves quickly, which creates space to build, experiment, and shape strategy. Leadership genuinely wants what’s best for team members, and you feel that through mentorship, transparency, and the willingness to invest in your development. Everyone at RealScout is collaborative, very customer-focused, and pushes each other to continuously improve and innovate. It’s rewarding to work at a company that balances ambitious innovation with a culture that truly values and supports its people.

Cons

I don't have any cons from my own experience, but like most fast-moving tech companies, it requires adaptability and a willingness to grow alongside the business.

Pros

RealScout is a company that truly believes in empowering their employees. I started almost 4 years ago and from the start they have treated me well. It is cliché to say but I truly feel everyone at RealScout is a family that really care about each other. I have had a few emergencies and I have always been given grace and understanding. RealScout understands and means it when they say they believe in work-life balance. Outside of that, RealScout has great opportunities for growth. I initially started as Member Success Coach but throughout my years and putting in the effort I am now a Customer Success Manager.

Cons

I sincerely have not had any cons with RealScout, best company I have ever been a part of.
