Pros

A Remote-first company with a very laid-back and informal culture. Pay was OK, but nothing special. The founders + CEO were very accessible, despite being distributed between Tallinn and NYC. Great team building events twice a year in Estonia. Exposure to a lot of cool companies and teams from across games and web3. While not for everyone, working at a startup going through meteoric growth can be quite exciting.

Cons

Quite chaotic at times with lots of shiny object chasing. The founders didn't have any real experience prior to starting their own business, and it showed a lot at times. Chasing investor-related KPIs instead of building a sustainable company can be hard to digest sometimes. No real career growth potential due to its startup nature.

Pros

Exciting and innovative company – Working in the metaverse space means being part of an evolving industry. Supportive and talented team – The people are collaborative, driven, and fun to work with. Opportunities to learn and grow – The fast-paced environment provides chances to develop new skills. Autonomy and ownership – You have the ability to take initiative and influence projects. Remote-friendly and flexible work – Good for work-life balance if managed well.

Cons

Fast-paced and sometimes chaotic – Things move quickly, and priorities can shift rapidly. High expectations and workload – The role can be demanding, requiring strong organizational skills. Processes still evolving – As a growing company, some structures and workflows are still being refined. Need for clearer communication – Rapid growth means sometimes information gets lost or misaligned. Work-life balance can be tricky – Depending on workload, it might require extra hours.
