Pros

Same benefits you'll find at other large defense companies. Project you are hired into will determine how much you enjoy your job.

Cons

Some Engineering Managers may exhibit behaviors that hinder employee growth. For example: Resistance to employee advancement: When an engineer expresses interest in career progression or exploring new roles, some managers may resist this, potentially using the engineer to fill a specific need without genuine support for their long-term goals. This can include making promises of mentorship or career development that are not fulfilled. Lack of transparency and communication: Some managers may avoid direct conversations about career paths, promotions, and compensation increases. This can create ambiguity and frustration for employees seeking clear guidance and feedback on their performance and development.

Pros

Good environment to learn entry level Cybersecurity within RMF. Tucson, AZ has a good training team/program. I came within RTX with another role and so far, the training and support is very helpful. Good work life balance. Opportunities for growth.

Cons

As always, the pay bands are very disproportionate; Its hard to evaluate pay ranges on average without coming to sites such as Glassdoor.

Pros

Great entry level company. You will learn a lot on the job. There is a lot of opportunity for career movement.

Cons

Slow-paced (could be a pro for some people) Lots of "red-tape" / paperwork Management is questionable. Couldn't land prime contracts and over committed on some proposals. This led to massive layoffs.
