Great hands on litigation experience. Very personable partners who are genuinely good guys and are willing to let you run with litigation cases once you learn the ropes.
Cons
Not a great starting base pay for first year associates but they are very generous with bonuses and raises to those who try hard and show they have what it takes to litigate.
It's a small, close-knit firm. Holiday party each year is nice.
Cons
Where to start? The Partners are petty and track your every movement. They expect you to stay at work until after they leave (even if you came in early and have already put in a 10-12 hour day). They mostly only have small motor vehicle cases, and there is significant pressure to settle cases to keep the firm afloat financially. They do not really teach and at least one of the Partners has a tendency to yell at staff and associates. The staff are largely incompetent and as an associate you do not have any support staff to help you. They do not have a good reputation in the community and having this job on your resume will not help you in the future. I cannot recommend working here as a staff member or attorney. Pay is VERY inadequate for the job and the expected amount of work. The Partners think very highly of themselves even though they are not talented attorneys.
